Red Rocket Couriers: A Year in Review

As 2020 draws to a close, at Red Rocket Couriers, we’re taking the chance to reflect on what’s been a year like no other for everybody. With the pandemic, we’ve seen a lot of industries face severe disruption and problems - of course, some businesses haven’t been as lucky as us to come through the other side stronger than ever.

Before we continue, this isn’t a piece for us to sit here and brag about how well we’ve done this year. As an ethical business, we hold the businesses who are facing hardship close in our thoughts.

However, it’s nice to look back and reflect on the events of this year, how we’ve learned from them, thank our amazing customers and team and spread some well-needed positivity. So, without further ado, here’s our year in review!

We’ll cover:

  • The Unfortunate Outcomes of 2020

  • Lessons Learned From Uncertain Times

  • A HUGE Thank You to All of Our Customers

  • The Resilience of Our Amazing Team

The Unfortunate Outcomes of 2020

With 2020 nearly over, a lot of people will be happy to see the back of the year and completely forget that it ever happened. Which to be honest, won’t be that hard considering we’ve not had a chance to enjoy ourselves much with the restrictions. Of course, overall health comes first and if we can take that into the New Year, we’re extremely grateful.

It’s not just physical health and wellbeing that’s taken a beating this year. Due to the restrictions, we’ve seen mass disruption and disturbance within many industries. Unfortunately, this has led to businesses closing, staff losing their job and a lot of widespread cuts.

We couldn’t produce a year in review without doffing our caps to all of those affected, we lend our deepest thoughts and best wishes for a much better 2021. At Red Rocket Couriers, we’re excited to see what fresh challenges are thrown our way and exceeding our customers’ needs and expectations once more.

Lessons Learned From Uncertain Times

One of the biggest lessons that we’ve learned from this year is that everybody can always give that little bit more. Throughout the pandemic, we’ve seen amazing work hitting the headlines for charitable causes. For example, Marcus Rashford and his amazing work to benefit school children living in poverty.

And we’re not just biased because he’s a United player - honest.

We’ve always worked with charitable causes but during the pandemic, we’ve given our all to help aid the NHS and health services. From long-standing contracts with practices and hospitals for the transportation of various items, we couldn’t be prouder of our team for the effort that they’ve shown to support an amazing cause.

There are many lessons to be learned from the effects of 2020 but the flexibility of our services is something that’s exceeded even our expectations. We aim to help our customers’ with anything that they need, which is massively important all year round. If we can help make people’s lives better in times of adversity, then sign us up for whatever.

A HUGE Thank You to All of Our Customers

If there’s one thing that we’re always thankful for at Red Rocket Couriers, it’s you - our customers! Without our customers, we wouldn’t be able to provide our service. There’s nothing that makes us prouder than meeting and exceeding our customers’ needs and expectations.

In times where you can’t predict much with any certainty, what you can predict is that we’ll always be on hand to help our customers. Whatever your requirements, we’ve proven time and time again that we have a service that can match your every need.

We have a large portfolio of customers around the UK and provide a professional service to every one. After all, every job matters - and that’s why we treat them all with the same amount of professionalism and duty of care. We care about your items and good reaching their destination in a safe and timely manner.

So, a massive thank you to all of our previous, current and existing customers for your continued support through 2020. We take great confidence in the fact that you trust us with your most valuable goods and have continued to use our services throughout the year.

The Resilience of Our Amazing Team

It’s fair to say that 2020 has thrown it’s fair share of challenges and hurdles our way - however, our team never fails to rise to the challenge and carry out an amazing service. We couldn’t be prouder of all our drivers and wider team with the level of service that they continue to offer.

Nothing is too much for our team and they’re always up for the challenge. We receive plenty of praise and amazing reviews on behalf of the professionalism of our team - and it’s easy to see why. The duty of care that they carry out in each and every job is second to none and it’s a core value of each team member that works at Red Rocket Couriers.

We’d like to extend our thanks to our amazing team members. Quite often, a business’ greatest commodity is their staff members and extensive team. We wholeheartedly agree with that statement. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to provide our efficient and reliable service time and time again.

Our team is a huge part of why we were recognised at Courier Company of the Year in 2020! This is something we’re immensely proud of and just the positive news that we needed to come from 2020.

What’s in Store for 2021?

As we progress into 2021, we’re aiming to continue to grow from strength to strength. We’re entering the year, fortunately, in an incredibly strong position. While 2020 has thrown a lot of things our way, we’re so grateful for the position that we find ourselves in. It hasn’t been handed to us though, hard work pays off - believe us.

For the year ahead, we’re hoping for a less eventful one that we’ve experienced - especially on the health and pandemic front. We’re grateful that we’ve got our health and our business to be able to take into the upcoming year - which is something, unfortunately, a lot of people and businesses can’t say. Again, we extend our well wishes to all those affected.

We’re incredibly thankful for all the hard work of our team members and the loyalty of our customers. Here’s to more of the same in the upcoming year!

Finally, we wish everyone all the best for Christmas and the New Year. Stay safe, look after one another and have fun celebrating with your loved ones. We look forward to seeing you in the New Year.
